Teliani Valley Glekhuri Kisi

Glekhuri (gle-khoo-ree) is a small production line of qvevri wines produced at Teliani Valley, by the rising star winemaker Temuri Dakishvili. This white or "Amber" wine is made from 100% Kisi grapes.

The wine is fermented and aged in qvevri, large clay jars that are buried underground, and made with minimal intervention.

  • Presents with a light amber color. Primary flavors include sweet undertones (glazed nuts, sweet spices) that develop further in taste and, along with pleasant tannins and acidity, level off into a great dry finish.
