Orgo Mtsvane

This amber dry wine is made from 100% Mtsvane (pronounced Mah-ts-vah-nay) grapes sourced from on average 50 year old vines located in the village Kurdgelauri on the Kaheti region of Eastern Georgia.

This full bodied wine is fermented and then aged in Qvevri, large underground clay jars, with skin contact for 6 months. The wine is aromatic and best served at 58º F.

  • Aromas of nectarine and orange zest lead the way on the nose, with slightly sour yet pleasing flavors of apple, peach, kiwi, white chocolate and butterscotch carrying the palate. Gritty tannins coat the mouth and then drop off, leading to a smooth finish. (Wine Enthusiast)
