About Wine
Orgo Saperavi 2014 is the latest vintage from this small artisan winery in Kakheti producing natural and unfiltered wines fermented and aged in Qvevri (large clay jars buried underground.) Orgo sources all grapes from older vines (in 2014 approx 50 Years) with low 1.5 kg yield per vine tree. The 2014 Orgo Saperavi (sah-pear-ah-vee) is a food driven red that despite it's young age is drinking fantastically. The 2014 Saperavi in general is softer compared to the raw power exhibited in the 2013 vintage. This is Saperavi in one of its best incarnations. Approx. 5,000 bottles produced.
